Before you begin, make sure that you have a positive mindset. Convince yourself that writing and completing a final draft is something you want to do. Believe that you’re excited about it. Follow the belief with action and expect the best possible result.

Create a to-do list or schedule, specifically for writing. Decide exactly when you will set aside time to focus only on writing and decide what area or space will allow you to optimize that focus in the time which you have set.

Don’t try to get it all done at once. Leverage your energy and availability to ensure that you’re using your mind and your time as efficiently as possible. Don’t write while you are hungry or sleepy. Try to prioritize writing the hardest or more complex content in the beginning of your day or when your energy is high.
